Brother Industries (U.K.) Ltd based in Wrexham, North Wales and is one of the award-winning carbon neutral recycling facilities in Europe. We are pleased to announce that we have a vacancy within our SCM Department, an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to learn and progress through a Supply Chain function.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Department in the general day to day and monthly operations, whilst also supporting continuous improvement both individually and departmentally.
– Sales Order Management, including registration and liaising with global customers
– Demand Planning / Forecast Management within SAP Systems
– Logistics Support function including Customs Declarations
– Learning & Understanding of all elements of the Supply Chain function (Planning / Logistics / Purchasing)
– Project Work & Continuous Improvement
This position provides the opportunity to further education with a qualification linked to the role / business operations
Responsibilities
General daily business administration and customer service related to our Supply Chain function. Working in a Timely and accurate manner to ensure smooth running of the department in meeting daily and monthly targets, whilst working within the Supply Chain Management department of a leading Global Business Equipment Manufacturer, assisting with operational projects and tasks as required.
Skills
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills with people of all levels are essential for this role
– Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines, as part of a team as well as on one’s own initiative
– Good IT skills, proficient with MS Office particularly Excel with the ability to analyse and interrogate data
– Excellent numeracy, written and verbal communication skills

ABOUT YOU
Experience is not essential for this role and the suitable individual must be enthusiastic, energetic and willing to learn a complex business model from the bottom up. They must be able to understand and appreciate the varied positions of stakeholders within the Global Supply Chain and have the ability to be self-motivated to develop the role through exploring new ideas and creative solutions in a fluid environment.
– A Level qualification or above in business or economics would be an advantage for this role.
– 5 GCSE passes at grade A-C or equivalent, English and Maths are essential
– Knowledge of, or a keen interest to develop a career in Supply Chain & Logistics
– Full UK Driving Licence is desirable.

Monday to Thursday (08:00-17:15)*
Working Friday (08:00-16:15)
*Non-working Fridays – approx. 21-23 days per year
Annual Leave – You are entitled to 20 days’ paid holiday in each holiday year, or the pro rata equivalent if you work part time.
Due to operational needs 17 days, must be taken during the company shutdown periods. You are also entitled to the usual public holidays in England and Wales or days in lieu where we require employees to work on a public holiday.
