About the Role

Plastipak is looking for a motivated and organised Quality Intern to join our team at our Gresford site.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience within a Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) function, with exposure to quality documentation, regulatory compliance, document control and customer requirements.

Working closely with the QHSE Manager and regional regulatory team, you will support the day-to-day activities of the department while developing valuable experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Complete customer documentation requests, ensuring information is accurate and provided in a timely manner.
Generate and maintain Declarations of Compliance and associated documentation.
Support the regional regulatory team with customer requests and the provision of site-based information.
Manage the Gresford document control programme on SharePoint, ensuring controlled documents are reviewed and updated in line with business requirements.
Communicate changes to controlled documents to the Talent Management team to facilitate appropriate training and awareness.
Maintain accurate and well-organised quality and compliance records.
Support the QHSE team with departmental administrative activities as required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Organised, methodical and able to manage multiple tasks.
Detail-focused with a strong commitment to accuracy.
Confident using Microsoft Office applications; experience with SharePoint would be beneficial.
A clear and professional communicator, both written and verbal.
Comfortable working collaboratively with different departments and stakeholders.
Keen to learn and develop their knowledge of quality, compliance and regulatory requirements within a manufacturing environment.
Proactive and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks.
