HGV Fitter

Job description:

Based in North Wales, we are a small haulage and plant hire company seeking a Qualified HGV Fitter to join our Dynamic team.

Working 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. Overtime Available. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with early starts, call outs, working off site and under their own initiative demonstrating a flexible approach.

Main Responsibilities include:

Maintaining and repairing our HGV fleet, light vans and cars.
Responding to breakdowns and carrying out offsite repairs to the fleet.
Working with our customers and adhering to deadlines to ensure 100% satisfaction and service.
Carrying out servicing and routine inspections on site or in the workshop.
Record all work carried out and order parts where required.
Complete other duties when required
Key Requirements

Highley organised and methodical worker
A high level of mechanical skills.
Diagnostic and fault- finding.
To keep up with the changing technology.
to be able to work quickly to minimise delays on site.
To be able to work alone without direct supervision and make decisions.
To be aware of risks and to follow safety procedures.
To communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with colleagues and customers.
A full UK driving Licence
50 hours (full time)
Required Qualifications

Valid HGV Technician Qualification
Desirable Qualifications

HGV C/C+E
