Cleaner

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment and wants to make a positive difference to the daily lives of older residents, including those living with dementia.

Your responsibilities will include:

•     Cleaning residents’ bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets and communal areas to a high standard.

•    Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising surfaces and frequently touched areas.

•    Following cleaning schedules and infection prevention procedures.

•    Using cleaning products, equipment and PPE safely in accordance with COSHH guidance.

•     Maintaining residents’ privacy, dignity and personal belongings.

•    Replenishing supplies and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.

•     Working closely with colleagues to maintain a comfortable, homely environment.

We are looking for someone who:

•     Has good attention to detail and takes pride in their work.

•     Can work independently and manage daily cleaning tasks efficiently.

•    Is reliable, organised, friendly and respectful towards residents.

•     Understands the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and infection prevention.

Previous cleaning experience is desirable, particularly in a care setting, but not essential. Full training will be provided, including infection control, safe chemical handling and our cleaning standards.
