Volunteer Youth Hub Assistant

Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to join our Youth Hub and gain valuable practical experience alongside their college course.
The role provides an opportunity to develop skills in youth work, community engagement, wellbeing, leadership and employability while supporting a wide range of activities for young people and families.
Key Activities
The volunteer will support:
Youth sessions and outreach programmes, engaging young people in positive activities.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and Young Leadership programmes.
Wellbeing and sports sessions promoting healthy lifestyles and confidence.
Creative arts activities and workshops.
CV writing, job searching and employability support.
Networking events, community activities and fundraising.
Family support and youth engagement, including programmes supporting young people and families affected by youth offending.
General Youth Hub activities, helping to create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
What You Will Gain
This placement will help you develop communication, teamwork, leadership, organisation and professional skills, while gaining practical experience that can support your college course, CV and future career.
The volunteer will work alongside experienced staff and receive appropriate guidance, supervision and safeguarding support.
