CNC Machinist Apprentice

About the Role–

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic CNC Machinist Apprentice to join our growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in precision engineering and wants to develop a rewarding career while gaining nationally recognised qualifications.

Working alongside experienced machinists, you will learn how to set up and operate CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality precision components for a range of industries.

What You’ll Learn-

CNC milling and turning operations

Machine set-up and tooling

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Quality inspection using precision measuring equipment

Health and safety in a manufacturing environment

Preventative machine maintenance and housekeeping

 

What We’re Looking For-

A genuine interest in engineering and manufacturing

Good attention to detail

Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Good communication and teamwork skills

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English grade C or above.
