The Role

Your responsibilities
The Apprenticeship Programme
We are committed to your training and development and invest significantly to ensure you have the skills, knowledge, and support needed to build a successful career in the energy industry. Our apprenticeship scheme provides hands-on
experience alongside comprehensive training, enabling you to earn while you learn. Working with experienced professionals, you will gain insight into station operations, maintenance, and engineering.
You will undertake the Welsh Engineering Craft and Technician Level 3 apprenticeship standard through our training partner, Coleg Cambria, at the Deeside campus. On completion, you will achieve a Level 2 NVQ in Engineering, a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Engineering, and an NVQ Level 3 in your chosen engineering discipline. In addition to the standard programme, TEi will also sponsor the successful candidate to complete a Level 4 HNC in their discipline.
Your employment will be on a fixed-term contract of four years. Depending on your existing qualifications, you may be able to complete the programme earlier.
This apprenticeship provides well-rounded experience and can open pathways to further education and career progression, including potential support to study for a degree.
Your profile
- Minimum of GCSE Level 5 (or equivalent); Maths, English, a Science subject and Technology.
- PEO qualification advantageous but not essential
- Keen interest in engineering, technology, or the energy sector
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
