We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative and motivated person to join EVOLVA LTD for a hands-on work experience opportunity in videography, content creation and digital marketing.

If you love filming, photography, editing videos, creating Reels, following social media trends or coming up with fresh content ideas, we’d love to hear from you!

At EVOLVA, we help business owners build their brands, grow their confidence and show up online through marketing, coaching and creative content.

We’re expanding our video content production services and are looking for someone who wants to get involved, learn new skills and gain genuine experience working with real businesses and clients.

This isn’t a placement where you’ll just sit and watch. You’ll have opportunities to get involved in the creative process, from planning and filming through to editing and producing finished content.

What you’ll be doing
Videography & On-Location Content Shoots
One of the most exciting parts of this role will be joining us on professional content shoots at client locations across North Wales and the North West.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

Travel with the team to client premises and other filming locations.
Help prepare and set up cameras, tripods, microphones, lighting and other filming equipment.
Assist with filming professional content, including talking-head videos, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, promotional videos and social media content.
Capture creative footage, different camera angles and engaging visual content.
Support clients during filming, helping them feel relaxed, confident and comfortable in front of the camera.
Get involved in suggesting creative ideas, poses, scenes and filming approaches.
Help pack down and look after equipment after shoots.
Our content shoots are designed to be fun, friendly and relaxed!

Many of our clients aren’t professional presenters or used to being on camera, so we’re all about creating a positive atmosphere, having a laugh, encouraging people and helping their personalities shine through.

We want someone who enjoys working with people, brings good energy to the day and understands that great content doesn’t have to mean being serious all the time.

Video Editing & Content Creation
You’ll also get experience turning raw footage into engaging, professional content.

This could include:

Editing short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Shorts.
Editing longer-form professional videos, interviews and educational content.
Adding captions, transitions, music, graphics and other creative elements.
Selecting the best clips and creating engaging videos that capture attention.
Repurposing longer videos into multiple pieces of short-form content.
Organising footage and supporting the editing and content delivery process.
Learning how to create content that looks professional while still feeling natural and authentic.
Photography & Creative Content
Depending on your interests and experience, you may also get involved in:

Taking photographs and behind-the-scenes images during shoots.
Capturing content for websites, social media and marketing campaigns.
Helping plan creative concepts, shot lists and visual content ideas.
Supporting the creation of branded graphics and other digital content.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
As well as filming and editing, you’ll have opportunities to develop wider digital marketing skills, including:

Creating and planning social media content.
Researching trends, content ideas and creative approaches.
Helping write captions and plan posts.
Supporting social media content calendars.
Learning about branding, audience engagement and marketing strategy.
Getting involved in email marketing and digital campaigns where appropriate.
Understanding how businesses use content to attract clients and grow their brands.
Who we’re looking for
We’re not expecting you to know everything already!

We’re much more interested in finding someone who is creative, enthusiastic, reliable and excited to learn.

You might be studying media production, film, photography, digital marketing, social media or another creative subject. You might also be someone who has developed their skills independently by creating your own content.

Ideally, you’ll have:

A genuine interest in videography, content creation and video editing.
Some experience using video editing software, whether through college, personal projects or social media.
A creative eye and an interest in producing engaging visual content.
Confidence communicating with people, or a willingness to develop it.
A positive attitude and a good sense of humour.
Willingness to learn, take feedback and try new things.
Reliability, attention to detail and enthusiasm for getting involved.
Experience with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Canva or similar would be useful, but isn’t essential.

A driving licence and access to a car would be a real advantage, as some shoots will take place at different locations across North Wales and the North West. However, we’d still welcome applications from suitable candidates who don’t drive, where practical travel arrangements can be made.
