Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Trainee Chef to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone currently studying at catering college and looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment. You will do food preparation, maintain kitchen hygiene, and learn the day-to-day operations of a pub kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals under supervision
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Help with stock rotation and inventory checks
- Clean and maintain kitchen workspaces and equipment

Learn and apply culinary techniques

Apply college learning in a practical setting
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a catering or culinary arts course
- Passion for food and a desire to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to take direction
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices

This person would:

Need to drive, or have a reliable mode of transport to get to us.

Be a level 3 hospitality and catering student or above.

Be available Thursday, Friday, and Saturday afternoon through to evening.

Be ready to influence and develop a menu.
Hours: Part-Time (Flexible to accommodate college schedule)
