Salary: £7.55 per hour, rising after first year of training.
Location: North East Wales, Cheshire West, Wirral – site based, predominantly in the Flintshire area.
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: This is a fixed term contract (up to 4 years) with the possibility to secure a permanent role on completion of training.
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week (a combination of work and college-based learning)
JCW Electrical Services is based in Mold and is a small family business dedicated to providing professional, reliable and high quality electrical works across North East Wales, West Cheshire and the Wirral.
We have an opening for a budding Electrical Apprentice to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and has the ability to work both within a team and with their own initiative. You will also have a genuine interest in electrical installation.
This advanced four year apprenticeship will include full sponsorship for Level 3 in Electrical Installation. It is a varied role and will include working in multiple environments from occupied houses to commercial office buildings. Although this apprenticeship & Qualification is for an Electrician Our Business is heavily weighed to towards renewable energy services so you will also be trained in the all aspects of Solar Panel Installation including that of fixing to roofs.
You will be fully supported with all areas of on the job training and will be expected to attend a local college one day per week.
Qualifications/Skills required:
You should recently have passed your core GCSE subjects in Maths, English and Science.
Good verbal and written communication skills are advantageous along with an understanding/interest in the principles of Electrical Engineering.
A full UK driving licence is beneficial but not essential (any non-driving candidates will be expected to work towards this)
