Starting Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per year

Derwen’s Product Range
As a bespoke purpose-made joinery manufacturer, Derwen processes raw timber into high-quality finished products.
Our work includes Shop Fronts, Doors, Windows, Reception Counters / Bars, Custom joinery components.
Manufacturing new products from detailed drawings and historic, conservation or bespoke aged products as 3D
scanning and reverse engineering.
Training and Development
Shop Floor Production Training – You will gain experience in:
1. Traditional Joinery Manufacturing Techniques
2. Advanced CNC Manufacturing
3. Spray Shop & Advanced Coating Applications
4. Joinery Final Assemblies
5. Logistics & Distribution
Office-Based – Final Principal Roles
Office-Based – Final Principal Roles
1. Estimating, Work Winning & Production Coordination
2. CAD Drafting and Design (AutoCAD)
3. CNC Programming
4. Reverse Engineering & 3D Scanning
5. Business Administration, Compliance, Audit & Management
Learning and Career Development Journey
You will develop through a combination of:
• Working alongside experienced shop floor and managerial staff
• Formal education courses (evening classes or short intensive training programmes)
• Online training programmes
• One-to-one mentoring from process experts within the business

Salary & Career Progression

What We’re Looking For

• Strong IT literacy (CAD experience beneficial)
